Is Apple’s Move to Forget the Personal Computer Just to Push in more iPad Pro Sales? (See The Ad)

It has been freaking four hundred and forty days (440) since Apple showed us their latest and greatest invention in computers the MacBook Pro. Since then Apple hasn’t announced a single notice of whether there will be another. We all expected an announcement in June’s WDC but that didn’t happen. It is now August!

sarcasm on Apple's New Ad

In their latest Ad, it shows us that Apple forgot what a computer was. See the ad below:

Video Transcription: “Just when you think you know what a computer is, you see a keyboard that can just get out of the way. And a screen you can touch… and even write on. When you see a computer that can do all that, it might just make you wonder hey, what else can it do?”

Apple wants us to forget as well (what is a computer!) to push their iPad Pro sales. Apple is thinking iPad Pro is a valid replacement for the personal computer which clearly we do not agree to. Tim Cook and Co. should come up with a huge innovation to replace all computers with iPad Pro or else they should concentrate on emptying our pockets with a fresh MacBook Pro.

According to TNW, Apple is due to release next-gen MacBook Pro lineup later this year.
